In search
of adventure aboard the ‘Phinisi Ambasi’ |
|
Aboard on the ‘Phinisi Ambasi’ you
will enjoy an unforgettable sea-journey. We are offering you
a unique possibility to explore even the tiniest island. We anchor
in the loveliest bays,
go ashore and will tour the island. We
cross tropical rainforest, climb volcano’s, admire waterfalls
and the lakes in craters. We go shopping at the ‘pasar’,
or watching traditional dances or
will simply lie down for sunbathing.
Sea treks between the island seem now and then very much like
expeditions a’la Cousteau. Many times our ship is accompanied
by dolphins, sometimes even a manta ray or a whale. The fish
that have been bought at the ‘pasar-ikan’ early in
the day is for the barbecue in the evening, somewhere on a quiet
beach. When the boat has dropped the anchor, it is marvelous
to take a dive in the limped water and while skin diving, you
feel yourself like being in a huge tropic aquarium.
The Indonesian archipelago
It is the largest archipelago in the world, where outside the populated islands,
you will find thousands of uninhabitat islands with an untouched of unspoiled
nature.
Here
magnificent coral islands with bright white shores are alternated by volcanic
islands with
rainforests, rice fields, mountain lakes and waterfalls. The Indonesian seas
are extremely clear, delightfully warm and have a brimming underwater life. Exquisite
coral reefs are guarding magnificent sea gardens.
Traveling
in a different way
You do not need experience in sailing. There is very skilled experienced crew
on board, who looks after the daily routine aboard, but however, they always
appreciate a helping hand. It appears all the time that our guests feel at home
aboard the ship very soon. To them, traveling in such a special way is adventurous
and comfortable.
Age is of no importance, on condition that you are in good health. On the boat
the crew will take care of you on an full board base.
Live-aboard
Do you wish to take active part on the ship? That is possible. You may assist
the crew with steering, navigating and hoisting the sails. You can also cast
a fishing line, go skin-diving, or enjoy the sunrises and sunsets. With a snack
and a drink, it is nice reading on the sundeck, or to simply doze on the rolling
deck. The brilliant starry sky at night reflecting in the tropic waters, will
make your sea trek an unforgettable holiday.
The crew
The crew of seven persons has extensive experience, with sea tourism and will
bring you to magnificent places that can not easily be reached in another way.
The captain has a lot of experience and will
take care of performing an utterly safe journey.
The engineer and his assistant are in charge of
the heart of the ship.
The two sailors see to it that all goes well on
the deck.
The tourguide (on a cultural cruise) takes care, that the guests
do not lack anything.
The cook will take you on a culinary trip, with daily
fresh and exotic dishes from the Indonesian kitchen.
The dive-master (on a diving cruise) will show
you the fascinating underwater world.
