Our Dive Operation
Parguera Divers is located on the Southwest coast of Puerto Rico. Our primary retail store in located in the Shopping Center El Muelle and our second store and dive boat on the premises of the Hotel Parador Posada Porlamar in La Parguera. We offer daily 2 tank dive trips to the Wall, as well as scheduled night dives and courses from Open Water to Divemaster, including Specialty Courses. Both PADI and NAUI certifications are provided and Universal Referrals are welcome. The boat departs at 8:00am and is usually back at the dock around 1:00pm. We provide great dive packages, an overnight storage for your dive gear and a freshwater rinsing bucket for our divers convenience. We take care and protect our waters and the life in it, so no collection or spear fishing is allowed. All dives are guided by at least one Divemaster. Parguera Divers requires all divers to show their C-Card prior to diving. All you gotta' do is roll out of bed into the boat, and away we go! Hotel Posada Porlamar is a small, cozy, family run hotel with 40 rooms, all equipped with A/C, private bathroom, phone and TV. A waterfront bar and a pool are also available to help you enjoy the rest of the day after some great diving.

Dive Charters
Charters leave at 8:00am and return around 1:00pm. This includes two dives and the first dive is always a Wall dive. Excursions include tanks, weights, snacks, refreshments and divemaster guiding the dives at a cost of $70 per person. A set of mask, snorkel, fins, BCD and regulator can be rented for $15 extra. One tank of 32% for $10 or one tank of 36% for $12 or try our special of two tanks of 30% for $14. If you are not Nitrox certified you can get to do one dive with Enriched Air for a $25 extra charge on the charter price.

Night Dives
One guided dive on a beautiful coral reef. Depending on weather conditions, Wall night dives can be done. A minimum of 5 divers is needed for this trip. The excursion includes the tank, weights and refreshments at a cost of $50 per person and $5 extra for an underwater light.

Snorkeling Trips
This is a two and a half hour tour, which usually runs in the afternoon. We visit two protected beautiful reefs and the tours are guided by a divemaster. The charter includes refreshments, snack and guide for the cost of $30. The mask, snorkel, fins and flotation device can be rented for $5 extra.

Discover Scuba Diving
This is not a certification course. The course is for non-certified divers. You get to experience the feeling of diving by performing a shallow boat dive with a certified Instructor. You need one afternoon and the minimum age required is 10! The course includes all the gear at a cost of $110 for one dive and $125 for two dives per person.

Refresher:
If you are a certified diver and have'nt dove in a while, perhaps this is a good idea. The review consists of one shallow dive in a protected reef or pool with a certified Instructor to perform some skills and get back the feel for diving. The refresher includes all gear at a cost of $95 for a boat dive and $50 per person for the pool session.

Technical Charter or Private Charter:
The boat can be separated for a private or technical excursion. The price will depend on the activity and whether it is a full or half day. E-mail or call us for prices!
