Outrageous V
The Outrageous V can carry up to 24 passengers. You can book all the spots or as many as you need. If you book 16 spots or more we will consider the boat filled and not add anyone else to the charter. If you do not book at least 16 spaces we will fill the remaining spaces. With 6 people you qualify for group rates, with 8 paid spaces you get one free space for a certified Divemaster or Instructor and with 16 paid spaces you get two free spaces. You are obligated totally for all the spaces you reserve unless you cancel thirty days before the trip is scheduled to run. The Outrageous V needs a minimum of 8 people to run.

The Outrageous V was built in 1978 by the Neuville Boat works in LA. and was originally used as an oil field crew boat. The vessel is 47â long , 15â feet wide and is constructed of aluminum and powered by 2- 8V71 Detroit Diesels developing 700 hp. The Out V is licensed by the USCG for 28 people to 100 miles offshore , however our normal load is 18 passengers and a crew of 3. The Out V has very extensive electronics, including SSB, Radar, Loran, GPS, ADF, 2 depth finders, 2 vhf radios and a cellular telephone. The Out V also is fully equipped with safety gear including, first aid kits, oxygen, fire extinguishers, etc. The Out V cruises at 16.5 knots and has a top speed of 20 knots. The Out V has inside seating for 18 people, full size clean toilet facilities, a fresh water system with shower and ice water onboard for your convenience. There is a large upper deck for sunning and cooler storage. There is ample space on the main deck for your tanks and dive gear. The swim platform is 4â wide and 12â long and has 2 ladders.

The Crew
The Capt. is Terry Leonard who has 20 yrs of experience on the waters of NC, during this time he has had experience as a commercial fisherman, a commercial diver, in salvage and towing , charter fishing, etc. Being able to call on this wide range of experiences helps him to give you the best diving experience possible. Terry has been a full time dive boat Capt. since 1984 . All of the crew members on the Outrageous V are experienced divers and are capable of providing information about the dive sites and the area. All of the crew members are trained in CPR, First Aid , Fire fighting and are capable of handling the boat in an emergency. All of the crew members are also trained as DAN oxygen providers.

Sea Quest II
The Sea Quest II can carry up to 20 passengers. You can book all the spots or as many as you need. The Sea Quest II is a 47 ft. Neuville aluminum dive boat. There is inside seating for 21 people with three tables. The boat has a large head with sink and a house sized toilet. There are tank racks for 24 divers and a large top deck with bench seats. The back deck has a canopy for shade, a 10 gallon ice water dispenser, and hot and cold water shower. We have a microwave so you can warm your lunch or fix a snack. The boat has air conditioning for both heat and cooling and 110 volt A/C so you can charge the batteries on your strobes or scooter ,all you need to do is ask. We will be glad to fill our camera bucket with fresh water if you will tell us at the dock prior to our departure. Our job is to give you the best diving experience we can. The dive platform has two ladders and surface supplied air on the hang bar. Friendly, helpful crew.

The Crew
The Capt. is Jerry Smith who has four years US Naval Service experience, has been a certified diver since 1982, and has been licensed by the US Coast Guard since 1984. Capt. Jerry has worked on or around the water for over thirty years and brings this experience to work every day. The Capt. and crew are medic first aid and Dan O2 Certified.

Captain's Lady
The Captain's Lady can carry up to 6 passengers and needs a minimum of 4 people to run. Length: 35 ft. The Crew
Captain’s Experience: Leroy Craytor is retired from 21 years of service in the USMC. A licensed captain for 13 years specializing in dive charters, he is a qualified NAUI instructor. Leroy frequently dives himself which allows him to give parties the best possible dive site for sea conditions at anytime.
