| What a disillusion when we arrived and we met Ulva and Owen working on their boat who told us that normally they were closed. But no problem "Everybody's welcome here!! There's always a solution" they said!!!! And it was done: we could stay as long as we wanted. All has been made in 5 min to make us feel like at home. We loved the way they try to preserve this unspoiled beautiful nature of Bangka. And more the fact of preserving this paradise, the way they do it seemed to us something so generous, just because they don't do it for them or us but really for the next generations!!! We really whish you the best for the future and thanks for your hospitallity. Henri and Capucine |

| We just wanted to thank you all for sharing with us your little part of paradise. From the occasional chirp of the geckos, the nightly light-show of the fireflies, the comical mudskippers darting in the mangroves, your nice dog keeping us company at night on the porch, to the spectacular marine life of the unspoiled, healthy surrounding reefs, and of course, the friends we made, our Mimpi Indah stay was by far the trip of a lifetime that will never be forgotten. |

| Hello Ulva, Owen & Ocean ... I am back to work now!! It was great experience to spend my day off on your exotic place. I do enjoy staying there, a nice place to rest and relax, beautiful view & delicious food. Other activity is snorkeling with your very friendly instructor, that was my first time but I have fun. I wish to do it again in the near future. Looking back, so many changes & improvements since the first time I visited you at the end of March 06 - Congratulation!! Sweet kisses for my niece, Ocean... | Ulva and Owen, thank you for a fantastic holiday diving the great reefs at Bangka. We had a lovely time at your resort and were made to feel very, very welcome. It is a beautiful place and the 'atmosphere' that you have created it is just perfect. Thank you Ulva for our evenings chatting away about all sorts of stuff,and to all the staff for making us feel so welcome. You really have created something special and it was lovely to know that you are working so hard to protect the environment and keep the reefs so full of life. | My friend and I recently had the pleasure of meeting Ulva at her beautiful Mimpi Indah Resort. Even though our stay was only short, due to other travel commitments, we found her friendly hospitality and in particular her awareness and knowledge of environment issues, a truely memorable experience.The accomodation was excellent, just the small details like fresh flowers, candles and matches beside each bed, umbrellas for the short walk to the restaurant area, and best of all was the comfy bed and a lovely clean bath towel! After travelling in the north of Sulawesi and only having one towel for swimming and bathing, it was a real luxury to have a proper shower ( instead of a mandi ) and dry off with a soft fluffy towel. The food was also excellent and the staff were all friendly. I will definately be recommending Mimpi Indah Resort to my friends and travellers that I met on my journeys. Thanks again to Ulva, what a beautiful person....we won't forget you!! Karen and Karen from downunder. |
