Flores XPirates Dive Camp is definitely the smartest way to dive in Komodo, located only a few minutes away from diving spots in the Komodo National Park, offers speedboat diving, allowing to spend less time on the boat and more underwater, outside of rush hours of dive centers from town. All of this added to the beautiful experience of sleeping like a pirate on a deserted island, enjoying amazing sunsets and sunrises, eating fresh seafood from our trusted fisherman, and giving you time to relax on a white sand beach, snorkel on an amazing coral garden, and do night diving just out of the jetty.
Flores XP is the only company based in west Flores and Komodo National Park offering camping on a deserted island. Our diving camp and camping tours are very well organised with complete service. Our motto is adventure with comfort, so the only thing you will actually need to do will be to enjoy the place. Our cabins come with all the comforts, mattresses, blankets, pillows, terrace and space to store your luggage. The camp is 100% powered by solar energy, making it the greenest accommodation in the area.
We have 12 comfortable double occupancy pirate huts on the island, 4 Double hill top bungalows and 1 Divers dorm. A complete back of house, with staff quarters, mechanical and equipments area, emergency generator etc is located in area that will not bother our staying.
Facilities at the camping site includes sea view restaurant with complete kitchen (and donít worry you donít have to cook, delicious food will be served to you), plenty of covered relaxing area, toilets with showers, complete diving centre, hill trek, sun chairs and nice bonfire area where you can spend time after dinner sharing stories and staring at the beautiful stars. Camping in Komodo is an unique experience. Live like a Pirate, on a deserted island all for you! Electricity is 100% produced by solar power, water has to be brought from land as we are a deserted island. Please use both carefully. We try to keep the island as clean and green as possible, please help us doing so.
Magnificent sunsets and sunrises. Sleep with the sea and dream under billions of stars. Very romantic and very mysterious. The camping area is really safe, no dangerous animals, it is designed for families and has a pirates theme to make your adventure even more exclusive.
