More information Your home away from home is just 10 min away from Savusavu airport and 5 min more to town, where you can find Restaurants, Markets, Wine and Bottle shops, Fishing and Handicrafts. SigaSiga Sands Resort is located 11.3 kilometers out of town on Vanua Levu, Fiji Islands, north of New Zealand, east of Australia. 3000 mi to Hawaii, 5000 mi to Los Angeles. Dive4Life is stationed at Koro Sun Resort just 3km from us and includes transfers. Jean-Michel Cousteau Dive Center is about 18 kms from SigaSiga Sands and costs about FJ$25 each way by taxi. They are a bit more expensive but closer to Namena Island which is the premier dive area from Savusavu. There are a half dozen popular sites from here including hammerheads, barracuda schools, caves, soft corals, etc. Also, the snorkeling right in front of SigaSiga is excellent with common sightings of white/black tip sharks, spotted eagle rays, turtles, schools of trevali, snapper, stick fish, cuddle fish besides all the other usual suspects of reef fish frequenting the inside reef wall that ranges from 5 to 20 meters high. There is also the shallows of 1m+ deep great for kids. The Space This cottage is available as 1 bedroom for 2 guests w/queen bed in lounge area (base rate) or when you add up to 4 more guests @ $25 each, you get an additional adjacent private bedroom (king bed) and loft (ladder access w/full size bed). 2 guests may enjoy the entire cottage by booking for 3 guests with a rate of US$150/night including tax. Other Things To Note Savusavu is a quaint little town and community unlike any other in Fiji. Many expats call this home. The island has hundreds of native fijian villages. So you will feel the fijian culture and friendly nature of the people at every turn. Your cottage is private with no part shared with others. Our only pet is one small friendly, polite dog living on property. The base rate includes 2 guests. We charge US$25/pp over 2 guests. Cancellation Policy: Full refund up to 30 days prior to arrival. 50% refund up to 15 days prior to arrival.
