Far Tortuga is a luxury vacation villa on the laidback north side of Grand Cayman.
The villa sits on its own private beach overlooking the Caribbean with a 120-foot dock, freshwater pool, and gazebo.

Far Tortuga sleeps ten in its four-bedroom main villa and one-bedroom studio. With cheerful décor and plenty of sunlight, each room in the spacious main house radiates Cayman's warm spirit. Escape the villa for the hammock in the gazebo at the end of the dock!

Far Tortuga offers a comfortable, airy living space. Ceilings fans dangle from the room's cathedral ceiling, while large windows look out onto the villa's freshwater pool and beyond to the beach.
Pop a movie in the VCR/DVD player. Or, if you simply must stay in touch with the rest of the world, flip on the satellite TV.

Dine in this open space adjoining the kitchen. Its glass-topped table comfortably seats six, with space for four more at the adjoining bar.

An open layout lets everyone socialize where they invariably gather - the kitchen! The kitchen is fully equipped with cookware, tableware, and towels. You can stock the fridge yourself at Chisholm's grocery just 500 feet down the road from the villa. Or stop at Foster's or Hurley's supermarkets on the way from the airport.

Awake to a view of the ocean; then slip out your bedroom door directly into the freshwater pool. The master suite features a walk-in closet; an enormous bath with whirlpool tub; and a four-poster, king-size bed. There's an overstuffed chaise with ottoman, too; it's perfect for reading in solitude.

The spacious master bath is equipped with two sinks, as well as a separate shower and whirlpool bathtub.

The master guestroom is also furnished with a king-size bed, and has a full bath attached. Glass doors open onto the lanai, while large windows offer an ocean view.

The third bedroom, on the west side of the house, contains a queen-size bed and freestanding wardrobe for extra storage space. This bedroom also has a private, full bath.

The fourth bedroom in the front of the house is decorated in a whimsical sea life motif. It's furnished with a computer desk and two twin beds.

A separate studio is attached to the garage. It's furnished with two twin beds and includes a full bath with shower. Also included are a small refrigerator, a coffee maker, and a stereo CD/Tape player.

The surrounding coral reef is teaming with marine life and is considered one of the best snorkeling areas on Grand Cayman!

Perfect for an al fresco meal, the villa's screened lanai is accessible from the dining, master guest, and living rooms. It offers an unobstructed view of the ocean, beach, and gazebo.

The kidney-shaped, freshwater pool was recently added to the property.

Far Tartuga's private dock reaches 120 feet out into the Caribbean. By the time you reach the secluded gazebo at the end of the dock you'll hear nothing but the lap of the ocean and the cry of seabirds.

Mainland stress quickly melts under the gazebo's thatched roof. Lie back and relax in the hammock to the sway of a gentle breeze. Now, you're definitely in the Caribbean.

Palm trees, tropical plants, and sand frame this beautiful villa.

Take a look back at Far Tortuga from the gazebo. After a week here, you won't just want to look back. You'll want to come back.

Far Tortuga is perfectly situated on Grand Cayman's north coast. The villa is within easy walking distance of a grocery store. While several restaurants and two water-sport shops are just a short drive away. It's also close to ferries that quickly shuttle golfers to the beautiful courses near Seven Mile Beach.
The island's north coast − North Side, Rum Point, and Cayman Kai − is the road less traveled. The area is largely private homes and a few condos.
Unlike congested Seven Mile Beach, the north coast has no hotels, no traffic, and no crowds. But just a 35-minute ferry ride or drive, and you can be in the center of all that action, for a while. Until you're ready to return to the peace and quiet of the north coast.

Finding your way from Owen Roberts International Airport in George Town, to Far Tortuga, Northside, is easy! Grand Cayman is a small island, there's basically one main road, from one end of the island to the other, and around to Rum Point with a cross over Rd -"Frank Sound Rd"- Far Tortuga is about 22 miles from the airport. There's only one exit road from the airport and rental car plaza, which ends after about one mile at a stop sign. At the stop sign, just beside the post office, turn left, and continue past Foster's Food Fair until the "give way" sign. (In terms of price and variety, Foster's is a good choice in supermarkets, and this may be a good time to shop for groceries. But, about 3.3 miles further along your route on the left, you can also stop at Hurley's Marketplace, in the new Grand Harbour Shopping Centre, surrounded by numerous palms and attractive landscaping. But, please note that all island supermarkets are closed on Sunday, leaving only a few convenience stores accessible, The supermarkets are all open from 7:00am till 11:00pm, six days a week (closed Sunday), except for a handful of holidays.

After the "give way" sign, keep to the left and follow the road which curves left around the end of the runway. You're now on the main road (the A2) heading east to Bodden Town, East End, Northside, and Rum Point. Along the way to Bodden Town, the road leads through several villages, including Prospect, Spotts, Savannah, Lower Valley, and Pedro.
The next Market along the way is the new Fosters Food Fair in the Savannah Countryside Shopping Center (6.8 Miles from Airport)
Don't confuse the signs for the district of Bodden Town, which will appear sooner than the town itself. After Pedro, you'll enter the village of Bodden Town (watch out for the 25 mph speed limit signs), and the road curves sharply to the left.Travel through Boddentown on the south coast road Continue through "Breakers" past the Lighthouse Restaurant (15.6 Miles from Airport) -about 1.2 miles, make left onto Frank Sound Rd. Continue North about 3.7 miles . Make a left onto Northside rd. (Just past the Esso gas station) West about 2.4 miles to Far Tortuga on your right, 1166 Northside rd. If you come to "Chisholms" Market you went 600 ft too far...Turnaround!
