Sabay Tayo sa Palau!
Asian Spirit Opens Manila-Cebu-Palau Route

Beginning May 4, 2007, Asian Spirit links the Philippines to the Pacific resort island that is Palau through Cebu. Asian Spirit will fly regularly to Palau three times weekly (Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays) via Cebu, the Queen City of the South. The Manila-Cebu flights connect to Cebu-Palau air services. Last year, the airline first introduced the Palau route utilizing Davao as gateway.

Cebu has long been considered a cosmopolitan oasis, offering culture and history, as well as a dash of metropolitan flair and natural beauty. By opening the Manila-Cebu-Palau route, Asian Spirit expects to help establish Cebu's standing as a major international hub in the Philippines.

Palau, dubbed as Jewel of the Pacific is best described as a spectacular 400-mile long strand of pearls laid across a blue sea. Named the Number One Underwater Wonder of the World, Palau is home to some of the world's most magnificent natural wonders, pristine beaches, gardens of coral just beneath the clearest waters, forests, waterfalls and caves, and hundreds of islands of the purest beauty abound all along this pristine archipelago of 343 islands, spread north to south over 100 miles form the atoll of Kayangel to the island of Angaur, plus five tiny islands, known as the southwest islands.

Discover the beauty of Palau with Asian Spirit's affordable all-inclusive roundtrip rates, Manila-Palau for as low as $330 and Cebu-Palau for only $280. And for those flying from Manila to Cebu or from Cebu to Manila , they may take advantage of Asian Spirit's special one-way promo fare of P850 (exclusive of taxes and surcharges). Asian Spirit recently launched its new ad campaign with TV host and personality, Paolo Bediones as endorser. The campaign entitled “Sabay Tayo”, invites people to journey together because it recognizes that traveling is a shared experience, and that every journey is more meaningful when shared. Asian Spirit holds the distinction of being the first airline to serve Boracay 11 years ago and has been consistent ly the number one passenger carrier to Boracay after it was established as the first local cooperative airline in the industry in September 1995 by the Airline Employees Cooperative (36 Filipino nationals, professionals and employees with varied airline disciplines). It started operations in March 1996 and its first routes were from Manila to the present-day towns of Boracay (Caticlan), Busuanga, San Jose, Virac, Baguio, and Masbate. Towns and cities serviced by the airline are usually regarded as secondary and tertiary routes, otherwise known as missionary routes which are usually not serviced by major airlines.
